Letting God's Promises Guide Our Prayers

Ever wonder why some people have a deep prayer life?

There is a reason. Many people who have a deep prayer life have learned to use God's word in their prayer, expectantly. They can do this because the promises of God let you know what to expect of God. They encourage us, and they can direct our prayer.

When you use God's promises in prayer, you are looking to the answer. Jeremiah 1:12 says ‘for I will hasten my word to perform it.’ That means God will perform His word.

So why don't we get into God's word and as we learn His promises, let us use them in prayer.

Father, teach us your promises and how to use them in prayer. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
